Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care on the MHC Neuroscience Unit 5C, utilizing the nursing process for moderate to high acuity patients. Support individualized specialty education and competency validation through clinical orientation with Clinical Educators. Prioritize wellness, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary team approaches to achieve exceptional outcomes. Maintain BLS or CPR certification with cards valid through sixty days of hire. Full-time, 72-hour pay period schedule with onsite availability.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
