Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness, a patient perspective, and multidisciplinary team approaches to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while welcoming new knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment. This onsite full-time role involves day and night rotation with a 72-hour pay period.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
