Job Summary
RN Acute Care - Medical Telemetry role focused on providing patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver individualized, evidence-based care; coordinating care through interdisciplinary rounds and effective documentation; maintaining culturally competent care; and supporting performance improvement initiatives. Requires partnership with patients and families, adherence to professional standards and hospital policies, mentoring/endorsing team development, and participation in ongoing education. Must demonstrate strong critical thinking, time management, and the use of clinical standards to ensure safe, quality outcomes. Locations: FOREST PARK, GA (on-site night shift). Licensure requirements include RN license (single state or compact) and BLS certification; five years of direct patient care experience is preferred. Education pathway includes Associate degree or nursing diploma with Bachelor’s preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Associates Nursing or Diploma, Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years RN experience (direct patient care)
- Strong English language skills; ability to read, write, and speak English; basic computer skills; strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
