Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty acute care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. This onsite night shift position requires a Registered Nurse with at least six months of experience and chemotherapy/immunotherapy/ONS certification within one year of hire.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- Chemotherapy Immunotherapy / ONS Within 1 year of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
