Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Acute Care Medical Surgical units using the nursing process. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary team collaboration to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and contribute to safety and quality at the point of care. Work full-time nights (72 hours per pay period) onsite at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central in Colorado Springs, earning $35.29–$54.71 hourly with a quarterly night shift incentive. Requires RN licensure, six months of nursing experience, and current BLS/CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
