Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Acute Care Medical-Surgical units utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness, a patient perspective, and multidisciplinary team approaches to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Work full-time nights (72 hours per pay period) in an onsite role at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
