Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure, quality point-of-care outcomes through a multidisciplinary team approach. This full-time night shift role at UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital requires 72 hours per pay period. Candidates must hold an RN license, six months of nursing experience, and a current BLS or CPR certification. The position offers a quarterly night shift incentive and access to comprehensive tuition reimbursement and professional development resources.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
