Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units of moderate to high patient acuity using the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness, a patient perspective, and multidisciplinary team approaches to achieve exceptional outcomes. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Maintain state licensure as a Registered Nurse with 6 months of experience, valid BLS certification, and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Work full-time nights in the Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, earning $35.29-$54.71 hourly with a quarterly night shift incentive.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
