Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care in all settings while collaborating with healthcare providers. Act as a patient advocate for safe care delivery, including delegation of care and participation in performance improvement activities. Maintain accountability for professional development within the legal scope of practice. This full-time, 12-hour night shift role is located at Kettering Health Main Campus in Kettering. Candidates must be licensed in Ohio, hold a BSN preferred, and possess BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse
- BLS certification
- ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire)
