Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Acute Care Med-Surg units, prioritizing a patient perspective and evidence-based practice. Utilize the nursing process to achieve exceptional outcomes through a multidisciplinary team approach while modeling proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. This onsite nights role offers a quarterly incentive program for full-time night shift nurses, with pay dependent on relevant experience and a minimum of three days open.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- Any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- ACLS within 1 year of hire
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
