Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and supporting competency validation through Clinical Educators. Contribute to secure, high-quality point-of-care outcomes within a multidisciplinary team environment. This nights-only float pool role requires a state-licensed RN with at least six months of experience and valid BLS certification, offering a full-time schedule of 72 hours per pay period with a competitive hourly rate plus float differential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
