Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity using the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness, a multidisciplinary team approach, and safety at the point of care while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment supported by Clinical Educators for competency validation. This onsite role at UCHealth Parkview Medical Center offers part-time 48-hour shifts at nights with a competitive hourly rate dependent on experience, including access to tuition reimbursement, 403(b) matching, and a comprehensive total rewards program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
