Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff and guiding competency validation under Clinical Educator support. Contribute to multidisciplinary team outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment. Requires state RN licensure, six months of nursing experience, and current BLS certification. Full-time nights shift with a 72-hour pay period.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
