Job Summary
Direct patient care within the RN scope with emphasis on nursing process and outcomes across medical/surgical patients. Responsibilities include determining health needs, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, performing comprehensive assessments, teaching patients and families, coordinating with the healthcare team, managing care for multiple patients, evaluating responses to interventions, and applying critical thinking to clinical data. Requires 3+ years of RN experience, Texas (or compact) RN license, BLS, and ACLS; placement in a Grand Prairie, TX hospital setting with full-time, on-site duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- Experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, PCU
- Minimum of 3 years experience to work Float Pool
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current AHA or ARC BLS provider
- Current AHA or ARC ACLS prover
