Job Summary
RN Acute Care Float Pool position at Medical City Dallas. Performs direct patient care within the RN scope, focusing on nursing process and outcomes across medical/surgical patients. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive nursing assessments, formulating and implementing nursing care plans, providing patient teaching and emotional support, coordinating care with the healthcare team, evaluating patient responses to interventions, and applying critical thinking to clinical data and current literature to inform nursing practice. Requires Graduate of an accredited nursing program, Texas (or compact) RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and minimum 3 years in Med/Surg/Telemetry/PCU with float pool experience. Strong emphasis on safe, high-quality care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams; benefits package described.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, PCU
- Minimum of 3 years experience to work Float Pool
- Current AHA or ARC BLS provider
- Current AHA or ARC ACLS prover
