Job Summary
RN Acute Care Float Pool responsibilities include direct patient care across medical/surgical units with emphasis on nursing process and outcomes, comprehensive assessments, care planning and collaboration with the healthcare team. Provides education and emotional support to patients and families, develops and implements teaching plans, and contributes to patient and family partnership in care. Requires active RN licensure in Texas (or compact), BLS and ACLS, and at least 3 years of RN experience in Med/Surg/Telemetry/PCU; position based in Frisco, TX with on-site duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- Experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, PCU
- Minimum of 3 years experience to work Float Pool
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current AHA or ARC BLS provider required
- Current AHA or ARC ACLS prover required
