Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units using the nursing process. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary team collaboration to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Participate in clinical orientation with Clinical Educators for competency validation within AMSN core curriculum standards. Work full-time nights shifts (72 hours per pay period) onsite at UCHealth Memorial Hosp Central in Colorado Springs.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
