Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity using the nursing process. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary team approaches to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and validate competency through Clinical Educators during orientation. Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care while welcoming new knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
