Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty acute care units (Med-Surg) with moderate to high patient acuity across Highlands Ranch, Broomfield, Longs Peak, and University of Colorado hospitals. Support a multidisciplinary team using evidence-based practice models and precept new staff to validate competency. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency in a fast-paced clinical environment. Full-time rotation with day/night shifts, 72 hours per pay period, and hourly pay ranging from $35.29 to $54.71 plus regional differential. Requires RN licensure, six months of experience, and current BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
