Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity at Highlands Ranch, Broomfield, Longs Peak, and University of Colorado hospitals. Utilize the nursing process, prioritize patient wellness and evidence-based practice, and model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff. Support a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment. Requires state RN licensure, six months of nursing experience, and current BLS certification. Full-time 72-hour schedule with day and night rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
