Job Summary
RN Float Pool in the Denver metro Acute Care Enterprise supporting patients at Highlands Ranch, Broomfield, Longs Peak, and University of Colorado Hospital. Provides direct patient care using the nursing process, supports a multidisciplinary team, and prioritizes patient wellness and evidence-based practice. Role includes precepting nurses new to UCHealth, adapts to fast-paced clinical environments, and contributes to safety and quality at the point of care across acute care units (Med-Surg) with unit-specific education and training. Onsite only with day/night rotation; no remote option. Works with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality nursing care and participates in UCHealth’s total rewards and development programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
