Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty acute care units for malignancies such as AML, ALL, and lymphoma, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency by precepting new staff and guiding individualized specialty education. Contribute to secure quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team focused on clinical trial and research outcomes. Work full-time nights shifts (72 hours per pay period) onsite at the Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- ONS Chemo Bio Cert obtainment within six months of hire or transfer
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
