Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Cardiology Medicine Unit utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models for moderate to high acuity patients. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure quality outcomes within a multidisciplinary team environment. Maintain current ACLS certification within one year of hire and hold valid BLS or CPR certification. Work nights on a full-time basis at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire/transfer
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- This position is an onsite role
- Work nights
