Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care on the Cardiology Medicine Unit, utilizing the nursing process for moderate to high acuity cases. Prioritize patient wellness, evidence-based practice, and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and contributing to safety and quality at the point of care. Maintain current BLS certification valid through sixty days of hire. Full-time role with 72 hours per pay period, onsite only in Aurora, CO.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
