Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care on the Cardiology Medicine Unit, utilizing the nursing process for moderate to high acuity patients. Prioritize wellness, evidence-based practice, and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Participate in the AMSN core curriculum and specialty certification standards within the clinical environment. This onsite role requires 6 months of RN experience, BLS certification, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Full-time 72-hour shifts with a performance bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
- any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
