Job Summary
RN - Acute Care - Cardiac Telemetry role involves delivering patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process, coordinating interdisciplinary care, and ensuring safety and quality outcomes. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of care; providing relationship-based care; engaging in interdisciplinary rounds and patient education; maintaining rigorous documentation; participating in performance improvement and evidence-based practice; supporting a collaborative team environment and mentoring/precepting others. Requires RN licensure in Georgia, BLS certification, and a minimum of five years of direct patient care; cardiac telemetry experience and strong communication skills are emphasized for this Full-Time Night position.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN in Georgia (RN)
- BLS certification (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years RN direct patient care experience
- Associates degree or Nursing diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read/write/speak English; proficient with standard hospital technologies
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment; critical thinking and nursing process experience
- Experience with cardiac telemetry and evidence-based practice preferred
- Precepting/mentoring experience desirable
- Knowledge of clinical governance and safety standards (e.g., patient safety goals)
