Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for cardiac telemetry patients using evidence-based practice. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds and documentation while partnering with patients and families to set care goals. Provide relationship-based care adapted to population characteristics and uphold Wellstar policies and TJC safety standards. Complete mandatory education, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Requires 5 years of direct patient care experience, RN license, and BLS certification. Night shift.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years RN experience Required
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills
- practices nursing using evidence and analytical skills along with possessing strong critical thinking skills
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
