Job Summary
RN Acute Care – Cardiac Telemetry, Night Shift: An experienced RN provides patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, following the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) and applying evidence-based practice. Responsibilities include coordinating care, participating in interdisciplinary rounds, ensuring documentation quality, supporting performance improvement and shared governance, and serving as a preceptor/mentor to others. Requires licensure as RN, BLS, and minimum 2 years direct patient-care experience; associates degree or nursing diploma (baccalaureate preferred) and Georgia licensure/compact license. Located in Atlanta, GA, USA, with night shift responsibilities and a commitment to professional development and exceptional patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English language, optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills along with customer service skills required
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills; practices nursing using evidence and analytical skills
