Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care in a cardiac telemetry unit, performing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews to ensure safe, quality patient care while documenting progress and promoting a respectful clinical environment. Partner with patients and families to set goals and provide bedside teaching, adapting service delivery to reflect cultural diversity and population-specific characteristics. Complete all mandatory education and competency assessments, serving as a preceptor or mentor to other nurses and students. Uphold Wellstar Health System policies, accreditation standards, and the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act. Comply with all organizational codes of conduct and respond decisively to emergencies in a fast-paced setting.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years RN experience Required
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills

Desired Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
