RN - Acute Care - Cardiac Telemetry - Full-Time Night

Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care for cardiac telemetry units, performing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, documentation, and patient teaching while partnering with families to set care goals. Uphold Georgia Nurse Practice Act standards, TJC safety goals, and Wellstar policies through proactive care planning and protocol development. Mentor staff and students, lead performance improvement initiatives, and participate in shared governance activities. Requires 5 years of RN experience, BLS certification, and ability to function in a fast-paced night shift environment.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years RN experience Required
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
