RN - Acute Care - Cardiac Telemetry - Full-Time Day Shift

Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for cardiac telemetry patients using evidence-based practice. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, conduct bedside shift reports, and partner with patients and families to set care goals and provide education. Document safe, quality patient care and participate in performance improvement activities, research utilization, and shared governance initiatives. Mentor preceptors and staff, develop clinical protocols to reduce re-admissions and adverse events, and consult experts to address practice questions. Maintain compliance with Georgia Nurse Practice Act, TJC safety goals, and Wellstar policies while functioning decisively in a fast-paced environment. Requires 5+ years of direct patient care experience, RN licensure, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years RN experience Required
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills

Desired Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
