RN - Acute Care - Cardiac Telemetry - Full-Time Day Shift

Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for cardiac telemetry patients using evidence-based practice. Coordinate safe, quality patient care through interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and timely documentation while partnering with patients and families on goals and teaching. Mentor staff and students, lead performance improvement initiatives, and participate in shared governance activities to promote research utilization and protocol development. Maintain compliance with Georgia Nurse Practice Act, TJC safety goals, and Wellstar policies while managing direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Minimum 5 years RN experience Required
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills
- practices nursing using evidence and analytical skills along with possessing strong critical thinking skills
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
