Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care on the Burn Trauma Unit, prioritizing a multidisciplinary team approach and evidence-based practice for moderate to high acuity patients. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff while contributing to safety and quality at the point of care. Work day and night rotations in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, adhering to AMSN core curriculum standards. Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
