Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize a patient perspective, wellness, and multidisciplinary collaboration to achieve exceptional outcomes while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. Requires 6 months of RN experience, state licensure, BLS, ACLS, and AMSN core curriculum competency. Full-time day and night rotation with a quarterly night shift incentive program.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
