Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care units with moderate to high patient acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. This onsite role at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion requires a Registered Nurse with at least six months of experience, BLS, and ACLS certification. Full-time day and night rotation includes a quarterly incentive program for night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- any relevant life support certification as determined at position level
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
