Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units with moderate to high acuity, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness, a multidisciplinary team approach, and safety at the point of care while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. Requires six months of RN experience, state licensure, and current BLS or CPR certification. Full-time day and night rotation at UCHealth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion in Aurora, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- This position is an onsite role
- Day and Night Rotation
