RN 8A Surgical Transplant (Unit Based Casual), Allegheny General

Provide safe, effective care for abdominal transplant, colorectal, surgical oncology, pancreas, kidney, and trauma overflow patients on a 38-bed telemetry unit. Demonstrate clinical assessment and care planning skills while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team for plans of care from admission through discharge. Professionally direct and manage patient care delivery activities for the designated population. Assess learning needs of patients and families to provide education based on age, culture, and willingness to learn.
