Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care in the inpatient Cardiac Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Administer medications, perform nursing procedures, educate patients and families, and develop and evaluate teaching plans. Maintain patient safety, prioritize care, and participate in ongoing learning to support high-quality nursing practice. Utilize nursing knowledge to assist physicians with procedures, address psychosocial needs, and promote efficient, cost-conscious care; ensure smooth discharge planning and post-discharge coordination.
Required Qualifications
- RN;BLS CERTIFICATION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE
- ACLS/PALS Specialty Certification
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
