Job Summary
Provide patient care for the assigned medical surgical population, managing complex diagnoses including infectious disease, wound management, and post-surgical needs. Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining professional accountability and patient confidentiality. Perform duties requiring prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work every weekend from 7p to 7a following orientation, with shift differentials for qualifying hours between 3pm and 7am. This role supports a collaborative team focused on innovation and compassion within a unit serving multi-system management needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Availability for every weekend 7p-7a once off orientation
