Job Summary
Administer high quality, accurate, and person-centered nursing care to all assigned residents on the 7am-3pm shift. Tasks include administering medications and treatments, performing observational and clinical documentation, assisting in emergency calls, and updating Supervisors of changes. Provide direct care as assigned while assisting in supervision of residents and nursing personnel. Give and receive reports, keeping physicians and families aware of changes in residents' conditions, and assist in developing comprehensive care plans. Requires an active, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut, current CPR and IV certifications, and geriatric/rehabilitation experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Connecticut
- Current CPR certification
- Current IV certification
- Geriatric/rehabilitation experience
- Understanding of restorative nursing
- Ability to pass preemployment screening process including fitness for duty physical
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Ability to pass drug test
- Ability to provide employment references
- Ability to discuss vaccination status
