RN 7 Medical - Cardiac - Full Time

Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients in a 24-bed cardiac unit, evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of information. Perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards, earning ACLS credentials to build clinical skills for patients with general cardiac needs, pre and post procedure cares, dysrhythmias, drips, and vascular conditions. Work day and night shifts with a sign-on bonus paid over two years. This steppingstone into ICU and ED units offers access to educators, respiratory therapists, and case managers within a collaborative team environment.
