Job Summary
Contribute to patient health assessments, participate in care plan development, and provide direct basic care to multiple clients within skilled nursing or long-term care facilities. Perform delegated tasks consistent with scope of practice, implement patient education, and utilize a problem-solving approach for decision-making while monitoring assigned duties. Maintain a professional demeanor, follow facility and staffing policies, and ensure tasks assigned to others are safely performed based on their educational preparation. Work days, evenings, or nights in Portland, Newberg, or McMinnville at $51/hr OT $76.50/hr for 6-13 week local contracts. Requires Oregon RN license, active BLS, and completion of clinical competencies.
Required Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment
- Possesses an active BLS certification with skills demonstration
- Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice
- Satisfactory completion of initial and annual clinical competencies to demonstrate aptitude as assigned by role
- Oregon State RN license

- Required to exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects including the human body
- Required to kneel, stoop, crouch and/or crawl occasionally
- Must have and maintain sufficient strength, agility, and endurance to perform during stressful (physical, mental, and emotional) situations encountered on the job
- Occasional running when responding to emergencies; must be able to perform BLS
