RN - 4E Pulmonary/ CHF Progressive Care Unit at Sharp Grossmont Hospital - Days - Full Time - May be eligible for Relocation Incentive

Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families in the 4E Pulmonary/CHF Progressive Care Unit. Utilize the nursing process to perform individualized assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of safe, therapeutic care for patients with complex multi-system disease. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, prioritize resource demands, and develop comprehensive plans of care. Act as a preceptor and teacher to guide new nurses, students, and travelers on applying the nursing process and unit-specific documentation. Delegate tasks to team members based on competency levels and assess appropriateness of physician orders. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and demonstrate professional behavior through unit activities.
