Job Summary
Registered Nurse role providing psychiatric care to adolescents/children using the Teaching-Family model; develops and leads interdisciplinary care plans, conducts comprehensive assessments, documents progress, mentors team members, and facilitates group sessions while ensuring a therapeutic, safe environment. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, communicating with the health care team, participating in quality improvement, maintaining employment requirements, and complying with hospital policies including CPI techniques, psychotropic medication knowledge, and mandated influenza vaccination.
Required Qualifications
- Arkansas Licensed Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Current Arkansas Registered Nurse license
- Flu shot is mandatory and required for all positions (subject to qualified exemptions)
- Lift and hold at least 50 pounds for one minute
- Must be physically capable to sit/stand for several hours and to perform clinical duties
- Must have good auditory, visual and olfactory ability; able to use hands for dexterity; able to operate computer and telephone
