Job Summary
Provides and coordinates nursing care for patients on a 3 East stepdown unit as part of a multidisciplinary team; conducts comprehensive nursing assessments to determine interventions and develops individualized care plans; administers medications following best practices; educates patients and families on care plans, medications, and self-care; collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care; demonstrates professionalism and upholds hospital mission and values; utilizes the nursing process and healthcare technology (e.g., EHR, barcode scanning) to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes; requires Tennessee RN licensure, an Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor's preferred), and basic life support certification; typically seeks 0-1 years of RN experience with potential for 1-3 years in clinical nursing; medium work with responsibilities including assessments, care planning, and patient/family education in a hospital setting in Memphis area.

- Registered Nurse Tennessee license (required)
- Tennessee Board of Nursing (required)
- BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association (required)
- 0-1 years work experience as a registered nurse (required)
- Clinical nursing experience 1-3 years (preferred)
