RN 3 East: Med/Surg Observation

Assess patients accurately based on medical conditions, administer ordered medications, and provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age. Formulate teaching plans for identified learning needs, including family members, and assist physicians with procedures requiring technical skills. Prioritize patient care effectively, promote safety by reducing unnecessary harm, and address psychosocial needs by communicating with social services regarding hospital and post-discharge requirements. Demonstrate cost-effective practices and maintain lifelong learning in the nursing profession.
