Job Summary
RN 11A Telemetry at Allegheny General Hospital provides care to a designated adult cardiology population using the nursing process. Responsibilities include clinical assessment, care planning, and safe/effective nursing care; directs activities of the patient care team; collaborates with the multidisciplinary team from admission through discharge; assesses learning needs of patients and families and provides education tailored to age and culture; unit focuses on advanced heart failure, LVAD, pulmonary hypertension, and post-procedural cardiac patients. Requires Act 34/33/73 and FBI background clearances and active PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via ENLC; CPR certification; HIPAA and privacy policy compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- CPR certification
