Job Summary
RN on 10 West Geriatrics/Acute Care for the Elderly; provide individualized nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team, implement age-specific care plans, utilize electronic medical records (EPIC), support transition of patients to home or skilled care, and participate in quality improvement activities. Includes sign-on bonus eligibility, day-shift responsibilities, and orientation involvement for new staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of school of professional nursing of an accredited college or graduate of an approved program eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
- Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
- Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required. May be required to obtain/maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit.
- Computer skills required for electronic medical record (EPIC).
