Job Summary
Install all electrical components onto ARFF fire apparatus; route and equip 100V and 24V wires; read truck specification books to determine requirements; prepare for light installation by drilling holes and fabricating; test equipment and diagnose electrical problems; read blueprints/spec books; perform cable management as needed; requires high school diploma or GED and strong mechanical/technical abilities; 110V electrical experience preferred; manufacturing experience preferred; able to read measurements and follow written/verbal directions; able to work with minimal supervision in a team; travel locally and occasionally overnight; pre-employment drug screening required; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Strong mechanical and technical ability
- Low voltage electrical experience
- 110V Electrical experience preferred
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Able to read and understand blueprints/spec books
- Able to read a tape measure
- Able to follow written and verbal directions
- Able to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
- Hours of work: evenings and/or weekends occasionally
- Overtime as needed
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Travel: Local and Overnight acceptable
