Job Summary
Unload pallets off trailers using a forklift and inspect, sort, and place items in designated areas at the Wilmington, OH pallet recycling shop. Clean and sweep trailers, operate hand tools including moisture testers, and maintain equipment. Perform physical tasks involving lifting up to 75 lbs, standing on concrete, bending, and stooping. Read and count to ensure accuracy while observing all safety rules. Work full-time, Monday through Friday, on the second shift from 2pm to 10:30pm. Start at $17 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid vacation after 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 – 75 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to read and count
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Observance of all safety rules and regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Proactive, self-motivated, and strong ability to multitask
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty
- Ability to stand on concrete for extended periods of time
